The overall design concept of "Crown Macau" was originated from the mastermind of the Co-Chairman and CEO of Melco Entertainment, Lawrence Ho. "We saw a niche existed in Macau for a world-class contemporary and non-traditional luxurious hotel casino to provide a six-star experience to VIP customers."
Our Design Principal Peter Remedios, helped bring Lawrence Ho's ideas to life by designing the casino. "Crown was never about mass gaming - it was more important to create comfortable spaces that people didn't want to leave. The old school of thought was to design casino like black boxes. I set about creating an urban oasis - a contemporary environment to make people feel good and younger."
