We are thrilled to announce that Remedios Studio has been appointed as the interior designer of The Ritz-Carlton Suzhou in China! Our team is honored to have the opportunity to collaborate once more with the Marriott Group, following the success of The Ritz-Carlton Kyoto and The Ritz-Carlton Xi'an that have become flagship hotels of the brand in Asia.
The 2500 year old fabled city of Suzhou conjures up a storied history as one of the oldest and most famous cities in the Yangtze basin. Suzhou is notably famous for its beautiful gardens, the canals and bridges within the city, the silk industry and the characteristic architecture of white walls and black tiles. The city, also nicknamed as the "Venice of the East" has a rich cultural heritage as shown by the presence of numerous UNESCO world heritage sites such as the Classical Gardens of Suzhou or the Grand Canal.
Remedios Studio has been entrusted to deliver an experience with an international sense of sophistication and global luxury that the Ritz-Carlton patrons value and expect while incorporating the local culture and traditions of Suzhou. Our scope of work encompasses the 190 guestrooms & suites, the lobby lounge and its food offerings, the specialty restaurant, the Chinese restaurant, the destination bar, the executive lounge, the ballroom and the event facilities.
Scheduled to be opened in December 2024, The Ritz-Carlton Suzhou aims to set a new benchmark in the luxury hospitality sector. The Ritz-Carlton Suzhou's appointment of Remedios Studio is a testament to our ability to create successful projects that meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and end-users.
In Mainland China, Remedios Studio has delivered multiple benchmark quality projects across the hospitality and residential industry including The Ritz-Carlton Xi'An, The PuXuan Hotel & Spa, the Niccolo Chengdu, the Langham Xintiandi Shanghai, the Park Hyatt Beijing, the Grand Hyatt Guangzhou, the Hyatt on the Bund Shanghai, the Qujiang Rosegarden and the Zhongda 9 Residences in Xi'An.
